Summer CSA Discount Opportunity!

Hello All!

I hope all of you have been enjoying the winter program. It takes a lot of extra prep to follow through with a winter CSA but it is awesome to be one of the only LOCAL programs during this time of year!!! We are officially opening Summer CSA sign up to the public so if you haven't had a chance to sign up... now is the time to go ahead and do so. PLease remember that we do offer a payment plan to help out. Along with the 10% discount for paying in full we are offering another opportunity to save some money on your share this summer...

We are extending the opportunity to current members to work at our CSA locations in exchange to a discount on their share. For every day you volunteer, you will receive one week free in the Summer program. This will be on a first come first serve basis so if this is something you are interested in please contact me ASAP! You will be asked to

1. arrive to the drop off location on time the day(s) you have signed up for

2. check off names and hand out shares

3. help out here and there at the market itself

4. be able to give some basic information about the CSA to customers

I will be filling out a work calender within the next few weeks and we would love to see some CSA names on it. We like to see our members get involved. What better way to advertise than someone with first hand experience speaking with potential customers at the pick up locations? Please understand that if you decide to try this "work exchange" program, we will be depending on your presence as part of our staff on the days you sign up for. If you can work on a more regular basis such as every week or every other week that would be awesome for the farm and you could potentially get your share for free!
